Jace Graf owns and operates Cloverleaf Studio, a book arts business located in Austin, Texas. Jace completed a graduate book arts degree at Mills College in 1990 and then went on to work for five years at BookLab, the premier edition bookbindery in the country at the time. In 1996 Jace started Cloverleaf Studio, where he specializes in hand bookbinding, box making and book design.

 

Cloverleaf Studio’s work is held in many private collections, library special collections and museums across the country. In the past twenty-five years Jace has worked with hundreds of book publishers, booksellers, commercial artists, and many commercial and fine art photographers, to create limited book editions, deluxe versions of trade books, enclosures for rare books, and suites of prints to be sold in galleries.

 

In that time Jace has also taught many workshops, across the US and in Italy, on a variety of book arts subjects, including calligraphy, paste paper, hand binding and box making.
